I liked the book. I didn't like how the book didn't mention any bad experiences with dogs. I would have liked if it had tips on what to do if something ever happened.

Gary Paulsen is smart, determined, energetic, and skillful. He is skilled at bird hunting. Gary is determined and always energetic. He is always outdoors and hoping to find adventure. He is smart enough to go by his instincts when it comes to dogs and other animals.It causes him to grow attached to dogs and learn things from them. This shows he is determined, smart, skillful at some things, and energetic.
